I published and edited SFScope.com—a news site that covered written speculative fiction—from 2007 to 2014. The site was an outgrowth of my earlier efforts as News Editor for the last few years of Science Fiction Chronicle, and while SFScope did attract a significant following, I was never able to turn it into the money-making venture it needed to be to consume so much of my time.

As the editor, I worked with several freelance writers who provided content for the site. But I was also the main writer for the site, bylining 90% or more of the articles eventually posted on SFScope. Seeking to lighten up the otherwise dry news of SFScope, I created my Graphicles: humorous (or, at least, light-hearted) graphical depictions of the worlds of speculative fiction.
